Seniors & Patient Care

For 10 years, I cared for my late father - medical appointments, diagnoses, nutrition, planning, and dialysis. Over time, I learned a lot about aging and patient advocacy. I applied these skills to also care for church members late in life. Working with seniors became a passion of mine. When my father passed away, I began looking at a career in gerontology. I became a hospice volunteer and became certified as a CNA. I worked in Texas in a memory-care facility, and in Las Vegas as an in-home CNA. I also trained as a medical scribe. I love being around seniors, helping them and animating their time. It would be an honor to find a position in the field.
